CR86GL
I cam across a guy that rolled his 94 legacy and he said he would give me the whole car for 250 bucks. The only problem is, is that it landed upside down. So I am wondering is it worth 250? and how much work am I looking at because it landed upside down. Any help would be appreciated. TheSubaruJunkie
$250 is a good price if the engine is still good. As long as it didnt do a nose plant, the 2.2 should be in good condition. replace the oil. remove the spark plugs and crank over the motor to clear the cylinders, fire it up. -Brian
woundedbrat
I have recently bought a rolled 95 leg for the motor and tranny. It will be a lot of work to retreive the harness and what not. It matters how smashed it is I spent about five days working 3-5 hours each day to strip mine down to nothing, but for that price you cant go wrong.after its stripped sell it for scrap and you could possibly make half your investment back. idosubaru
just make sure the engine is good. i'm not sure how roll overs work but the oil pans/pick up tube does not get oil if the engine is upside down.
bheinen74
the rollover check valve should have cut off fuel supply before any damage could have been done..notice i said should.
CR86GL
Thanks for all the imput I feared that all the oil would have caked the inside of the engine and I would have to tear it down. I am going to check the car out tomorrow. It was not hit head on so I think the motor should be ok.
