EVOthis Posted May 28, 2008 Share Posted May 28, 2008 i was just reading something in i believe feb/march issue of subiesport mag.....i believe they put an upgraded radiator in a 1993 impreza...according to the article it wasnt that difficult.....(i tried some searching online but couldnt find the article)..... In the aftermarket, the all aluminum radiators are usually double in price compared to the stock plastic/aluminum replacements. yes but i'm looking for better cooling. i rally my legacy and this last event was really warm. it never got super hot, but i got this economic stimulus check to do something with and that's about the only thing i would like to upgrade. well that and maybe some new brakes. frag Posted May 28, 2008 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Since OEM is plastic aluminum (in my 96 Legy at least) and works quite well (12 years), I dont see why you should pay more to have an all alu rad. I dont think it would cool better. The important thing is that the core be alu. I did'nt even know they made an all alu rad. Or am I missing something.
