ausubaru92
I have a mate who is after Chev 327 engine parts, most importantly, heads, for his Holden Monaro. Here in Australia, 327 parts are very hard to come by. So does anybody know where we could source some from? Postage can be arranged Many thanks
Reveeen
Here I *thought* 327 heads were not *exclusive*, meaning: You make your choice of the desired small block Chev head and bolt it up. Making that choice: 1) heads drilled for accessory drives? 2) combustion chamber size? 3) valve size? 4) material? 5) spark plug hole size? 6) rocker arm studs and push rod guide plates? Probably #4 should be #1, because you aren't going to get aluminum heads with 1.94 valves, or press-in rocker studs, or big plugs. Pretty well any small block head will bolt up (265-400cid), with the kind of shipping money you are likely looking at it is best to be specific. ausubaru92
Ok i didnt realise there was that much range. I'll have to ask the guy for more details. What i do know is that they are from 1968-69 Chev 327, are made of steel and were imported into Australia from the USA Come to think of it, he said he wants some within a range of casting numbers, so that might narrow it down a little.
