Techworks EA82T headers ?

Recommended Posts

I like the idea of the TWE as in how the nearside engine pipe (RHD) is separate till just short of the turbo's mounting flange .

No doubt we can make the same thing but just trying to work the numbers .

Personally I prefer the down pipe collector the way Michael South of MSE does it .

Cheers A .

Agreed. Keeping the exhaust valve pulses seperated until right before the turbo will increase the efficency of the turbo setup. It's sort of muted by the siamesed ports, but every little bit helps.

I used the same effect on my personal header.

Too bad they are not still available. They worked great, especially coupled with an aftermarket turbo.

I figure even used ones are worth their price in gold to the right person who wants them.

 I know where there is a bunch of them. Everytime I talk to him he wants me to buy the whole lot. I'm also pretty sure TWE will build you one if you call, had a customer of mine try that, but they wanted too much money.

How many are there and how much for the whole Lot?

Might be a Group Buy in the making

Originally it was. What happened is TWE made them, roughly 10 I think of both the headers and the downpipes, then a dealership bought them all and sold them to the few people that have them, or the few that are floating around on here. The dealer last time I knew, still had most of them sitting on a shelf.

Call Folger automotive in Charlotte, NC, ask for Mike(I don't have a number handy for them). Tell him Justin sent you. He'd be happy to get rid of them.

I Emailed Mike at Folgers and he said $300 shipped for a Manifold.

Too much for me but if anybody wants a few he has them

Only $300, including shipping? Heck, I might have to give him a call. I would be willing to pay $300 for one. That is cheap compared to prices for items like that here(even though you wouldn't be able to find a running EA82T on this Island).
