dem577 Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 I need help fast! LOL. I just bought an '86 4x4 GL with automatic transmission and I need to tow it home (does not run). If this is electrically controlled and it has a dead battery...if I stick it in neutral and don't push the red button in, am I then in FWD? Undo the 4 bolts that hold the rear driveshaft to the differential flange, and you can tow it as far and fast as you want to on a dolly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
