chef_tim
Well it is done, we went ahead and traded in our WRX for a new Outback. I'm gonna miss that little red rocket. But the new Outback is a nice car and far more practical. Vicky actually did the deal while I was TDY in MT. Probably better that wasy, as I don't know if I could have gone through with the trade. Well, with out any further adue, here it is............. Enjoy, Tim

brus brother
Just got the same one in Harvest Gold. I'm looking into ordering the matching color exterior door handles for mine as the contrast is more noticeable with the lighter color. Your color was my first choice but I got mine used and the grey wasn't available. Any tricks to popping the door panels to replace the exterior handles? How do you get to the "hidden" screws? The Dude Abides
The Top Gear boys did a writeup on one of these. They said it had a different engine then what they were useing. Anyone know what it is. Ben. P.S. Love the look of these
mtsmiths
When you will fall in love with the car is on your first road trip. Quiet, comfortable and 31.8 mpg on the interstate at 7o+ on our last trip.

chef_tim
Thanks for all the good words. I had to drop off some paper work at the dealer today so I got a final look at "Ruby". All the typical windscreen writing on it; "one owner", "only 10K miles", etc. The Outback is a nice car and the main thing is that my wife really likes it.
