I'm not real familiar with right around Astoria.

I would think there could be some close wheeling.

But down further is TSF.

Quite a few trails there.

Its a little ways up HWY 6 from Tillamook.

You can lookup "Browns Camp" to see location and detrmine if it's even an option. (Browns camp is one of the staging areas)

im down, i hope to have some better all terrain tires by then and maybe a lift, if not just hacked fenders and some guts. i broke her in yesterday after i put on the pugs and i was surprised of the ground clearance gain and its ability.

cool , your from the area right? , whats the closest place to Astoria we could take a group to say on friday or saturday ?? of the show??

I actually live out near Mt. Hood. About 2 hours away from the coast.

Only place I've been wheeling out there is down in the Tillamook State Forest.

Kinda near Sand Lake. (not too far inland)

As far as near Astoria..... I have no clue what's close by.

I've been planning something like this for a while...I'm thinking abit more like WCSS8 that I did with GlGraig...so everyone can do it..

TSF would be our starting caravan enroute to WCSS10..Friday would be the day of choice...

I have been scouting out a few routes...in TSF up to Astoria...

Of course wheelin spots for sat/sun...are optional for the hardcores...

my trip is looking like this

Sand Lake dunes Wed and Thur

Those look like some good plans.

Hope I can get the time to get in on some of that Sand Lake action. Proly Thursday for sure. :)

how gnarly is CF? i should be able to make it with open diff, 2inch lift and 28's right? i dont mind dents those are battle wounds.

I'm thinking by CF you mean TSF?

Here's a link of my last time out. Some pics in a few of the posts on the first page.

That kind of terrain is par for the course there.

I'm stock with 26" tires and a welded diff. You can make it no problem. :)

And like Scott said, there will be plenty of tow straps around.

Now I just hope I'm even gonna make WCSSS10.

Just figured out I'm already way over budget for it. :dead:

And my clutch just toasted.

Plus there is a fly in cruise in I want to go to way more badly on saturday. I'm a total aircraft fanatic.
