Suzrub Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 I have a 2000 OBW w/ a 5 speed manual. 3 weeks ago we had our clutch replaced, then a couple days ago our gear shift lever pulled out of the tranny. I can put the gear lever back into place but it won't stay in place. For example when you out it into 1st it will pop the rubber boot out of the top of the tranny, there must be some kind of retaining clip that is missing, broken or was not put back in after the clutch job/ Any ideas?
