quick question

ok i just picked up some pugs in 15's, and put some wildcat 215/75/15's on it, took a salzall to the front fenders and did soem beating, now they clean no problem.

 

but when going into full articulation the rears dont clear the fenders. this is a 85 wagon and the rear shocks are at their lowest height setting. now when i put them to the tallest setting i should be fine right? in theory i really only need 1inch of clearance and a BFH will do the rest, but what is the gain when going from lowest to heighest setting on those shocks?

ok well looks like im gonna have to get my welder fixed or barrow my bosses to build a kit.

 

on 2inch you dont need to extend the steering shaft right? also brake lines are good until over a 4inch lift?

Rear lines will be OK if you release them from the rear swing arms with a 4" lift.

 

Front lines you really should lengthen. They are OK for highway .... but stretch very tight at full articulation offroad.

on 2" lift drop the rear diff 1" to save your axles front should be fine

This is a 2"er with 30's and it's an SJR lift too.

I have cut the fenders out a bit bigger now then the day this pic was taken. but you get the Idea.

i like power tools so i have no problem cutting the crap out of the fenders to get it to fit.
