ErikAnderson
posting from a phone, at work, on break so let me say sorry in advance.I changed drivers side steering boot, cv bots (and repacking), and wheel bearings. now in order to drive straight the steering wheel has to be turned 90deg to the right. I am thinking my steering arm may be out of adjustment. anything else I am missing here?
McDave
I don't see how anything could have gotten out of adjustment by what you did. Try disconnecting the steering column again and turning it back 90 degrees and bolting it back together. Edit: I misunderstood what boot was changed. See GD's post below. GeneralDisorder
I changed drivers side steering boot If you removed the tie-rod end to do this, then you changed the alignment. You'll have to align it yourself or have a shop do it. GD

GD yeah i am sure that's what i did, i was just so positive that i put it back right where it was, or atleast CLOSE, not a full 90deg turn. Sorry for sounding like a moron, i am good at the details but can overlook the obvious due to lack of familiarity. Thanks for pounding the truth home. I am sure i will have plenty more "no ************ sherlock" questions in the future, your patience is appreciated.
