kiwi subbie Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 what is this on my subaru 1990 brumby? ive seen them on leones 2. its that steel bit that hangs down. wat is it used for? every one ive seen has been bent and damaged from the movement from that bar in the pics ( sway bar? or something) is that bit needed or can it be cut off? bheinen74 Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 i call that a fender sincer your outer fender mia. i always wondered what they were for too, they are in the way on changing our the axles, and they are sort of similar to the axle mudlflaps on the back......but they don't have a purpose i now of.
