PeterD
well i have been searching to see if i could find any good info on how to fix my cruise control but i have no idea were to start. I wrecked my 91 legacy and replaced it with a 90 that had no cruse control, i swapped out all of the under hood components, the cruse control modual and relay, the cluch and brake switches and plugged them into there proper plugs that were already in the existing wiring harness. the dash switch will light up and the relay will click on but i cant get the cruise control to turn on. any ideas. I'll keep searching .
McDave
What about Vehicle Speed Sensor input to the cruise module?
PeterD
What about Vehicle Speed Sensor input to the cruise module? i was thinking of that, i was looking at both my wrecked car and my good car and the speed sensors seem to be identical. Im not to sure how to test for it.:-\
Gloyale
I assume you installed the vacuum hose from the pump to the cable actuator? Does the vac pump get power and turn on when you hit the cruise button on the dash? Is there a fuse installed in the fuse box for the cruise? Is there a fuse installed in the fuse box for the cruise? the fuse is there, i'll check to see if its getting power though. could it have a differn't clockspring since it was not equiped with cruse from the factory, the little horn/cruise switch pluged right in. wtdash
I just read over on LegacyCentral.org that the ECU/computer needs to match your transmission.....just an idea. Good Luck.
