Friend thinks he needs 2 front ones [wind noises]. I find it hard to believe that an average use car would need them. I am suggest door adjustment. Thoughts?

Friend thinks he needs 2 front ones [wind noises]. I find it hard to believe that an average use car would need them. I am suggest door adjustment. Thoughts?

Are we talking about wind noise coming from the frameless glass contact with the roof and 'A' pillar seals?

 

If so there is a fix.

 

1. Roll down window

2. Position repairperson between open door and car body

3. Grasp rear view mirror housing firmly

4. Gently bend the housing inward, no yanking, just slow steady pressure

5. Repear steps 1 thru 4 on opposite front door.

 

Test drive, repeat if necessary.
