edrach Posted August 19, 2008 Author Share Posted August 19, 2008 For some reason, the fairgrounds people switched fields on ORG and relegated the event to a field only slightly larger than the ORV park in WA. Also, the grass was so tall it was hard to see the pointer cones which made for a challenge to the CRS afflicted among us. I was looking forward to the large field used last year and getting a long run out of it. As I said, ORG managed to pull off a fine event in spite of the smaller field, tall grass, and barely enough room to park and grid cars. I especially liked the printed labels with times that were handed out...a splendid idea that makes one wonder why it hasn't been done sooner.
