Subieguy
This is what my 84 Brat looked like when I found it a year and a half ago. This is what it looks like today. I know it is coming slowly but hey it's coming along.

Subieguy
That is about what condition this one was in when I found it. Sitting up under trees for 5 years filled full of junk. Hey it was free so no complaints. It needed a starter to get it going again. That was it. I have since replace all the front sheetmetal and the doors are from a 85 hatch so they are built a lttle stronger than the Brat doors. I also had to weld the rear seats back in. They were long gone. I was happy to find the A-bar on Craigslist for it. It is qutie hard to find parts for it around here. There are no EA-81 cars in any of the local wrecking yards. The only real metal work I need to doo is the battery box area. It looks like the battery ruptured and leaked out all over sometime in the past. It is quite rotted out there. I cut out the part I needed out of a 84 GL wagon I had. I just need to get around to fixing it. nice manmy moms neighbor has a brat under their porch (i dont know why either) but i'm going to ask about it there is a bunch of junk piled on top and it doesn't look as if the suspension is holding any, more but there is minimal rust and the glass is all there it has the t-tops and a carburator, thats as much as i know so far

newsoobdude
Nice BRAT!!! Eventually I'd like to have mine looking like that. Don't recall, but how'd you manage a free BRAT? I thought I scored with mine by trading an EA82T drive train with air shocks, minus rear disks.
