jeng22
hi, i have a 2001 subaru legacy that had just a used engine put in just recently, i am from the bay area and the car broke down on me somewhere in oregon and the mechanic just informed me that it threw a CEL p0748 and the AT temp light on the cluster keeps flashing, before the engine problem i never had any CEL and the temp light wasn't flashing, he had taken it for a road test and said that the tranny shifts fine just except for the CEL and AT temp light keeps on flashing, does anyone have an idea what this could be?any help is greatly appreciated..thanks
McDave
Have him take the transmission pan off and check the connector on the duty pressure solenoid. The mechanic probably broke it when he jacked the tranny up and dented the pan when he pulled your motor.
jeng22
have him check the pan and he said it's all in good shape, he said he will recheck all the tranny wiring connectors, hopefully he'll find the problem before i drive the car back to bay area, thanks anyway for your input...
