torxxx
winters coming fast up here in alaska and I cant deal with the air leaks at my door glass anymore. Has anyone found a supplier for new rubber door seals/gaskets? EA82 wagon btw I'm mainly looking for the window seals (ones that start at the A pillar and run up over the window to the b pillar) more than the door seals but both would be great. I've adjusted the hell out of my door glass trying to get it to seal tighter and have used butyl tape around edges to attempt to get it to seal. if anyones got some info plz let me know while I still have money  Edited September 17, 2008 by torxxx because I'm an idiot

DaveT
Well, I cheated. I saved a set or 2 from cars I dissasembled for future anticipated use. I've also thought about using RTV to rebuild a broken / bad spot, using saran wrap as a release layer and whatever else to hold the required shape while curing. I just have not had to do it yet.... Numbchux
I need to do the same. JCwhitney sells numerous styles of generic weatherstripping by the foot. I'm sure there's something there that could work.
sparrowhawk
I am parting an 85 wagon. The front window seals seem in good shape and I got them off in one piece. Those little push in clips are a pain. Barry winters coming fast up here in alaska and I cant deal with the air leaks at my door glass anymore. crockettbrat
I found a brat in the pnp last year with a very nice set so I grabbed them and they hang on a hook in the shop waiting for my crusty ones on the brat to give up. Maybe someone on the board knows of a good set of these sitting in a junk yard for your car. Anyone, anyone?

torxxx
the weather stripping that I'm talking about doesnt have push clips it it. Its for the upper part of the door glass that sits into a channel one piece runs from the bottom of pillar A to the top half of pillar B
sparrowhawk
I agree the weather strip fits in a channel but mine also has a couple plastic clips that show as about 1/4" round plastic plugs at each end. These are there to stop it from pulling out of the channel at the ends. The door strip on mine is not in a channel and has even smaller T pins every few inches to hold it on the door. You can only see these by pulling the strip away from the door slightly being careful not to pull them out of the rubber seal. Barry
