The technician said it spit out the message of "error code 35 control purge solenoid valve...solenoid valve inoperable" but I have not been able to find any info on this and the shop didn't have any ideas. Call Jason at 1stsubaruparts.com ((866)528-5282 ) and get a new one. It is also fairly easy to replace. It lives under the intake manifold, on the passenger side. screwbaru2 Posted September 26, 2008 Share Posted September 26, 2008 On the new gens its one bolt one elec. connector and 1 or 2 hoses. Really easy to remove and install.
