NV Zeno Posted January 8, 2004 Share Posted January 8, 2004 OK, there's got to be a way to prevent (or at least slow down) formation of rust on the chrome rings that I attach to my wagon wheels. As much as I've tried to clean them off after the road grime collects, and after waxing every set I've had to buy on an annual basis, I still get rust. Is there anything I can maybe apply to the rings to help keep the salty road grime from eating them? I was thinking the frying pan spray like used in restaurants, am I way off here?
