Scott in Bellingham
I knew that would get your attention. I have a 84 brat i want to lift. 3" and 4". Who has used what brands. The best one would be the one that ends on your own car, all the lifts I have seen are comparable, on the rear I used to supply 4 seperate blocks now I have 2 which give more diaganal support, also on the rear diff I use a plate that drops just the diff where others drop the Mustache bar pictured is a 4" EA81 lift from my site www.sjrlift.com
Phizinza
Not saying it isn't an alright idea, just saying I don't like the idea of having only 1 piece of vertical metal holding up head suspension point.. I know its thick metal Scott, but that just seems a little scary to me.
()__1337_CRAYOLA__()>
i think the lift scott offers is very good as long as you dont jump the car
one eye
Or you could just build one yourself........that is always the cheapest!! Jeff

Simply beautiful. I don't think you're going to do much to 1/4 steel plate if you jump your Subaru with it as a lift.
3eyedwagon
Or you could just build one yourself........that is always the cheapest!! Jeff Build it yourself. It's always the best way to go, for SO MANY REASONS... Not to speak poorly of anyones product, but of all the lifts being manufactured; nobody makes a lift specifically for YOUR car. Every lift is going to need to be a little unique, because the cars you are installing them on are probably just a bit different than the ones the lift manufacturers used to design their lifts. "Kits" are what model cars come in. Build it yourself, you'll be far better off.
TheSubaruJunkie
Here is another shot of SJR's strut extensions to show just how burley they really are: I say the best lift is the one that raises the body from the ground. They all do it, and they are all pretty much the same. Unless you are jumping your car like Phiz over there, you will run into very little problems. This mod, like so many others, will require some altering and modifications to your Subaru to fit and perform propperly.
