AndyInNYC
We live in NJ and I drive between NJ, PA and NY - about 90 miles a day several times a week. The Outback looks like a terrific winter car (as well as summer). The Limited adds side air bags, 6 CD changer, leather and the two sun roofs, etc. We have a local model in the color my wife wants for $25.5 less the $1000 back (25.5K + tax - $1000). Is this the right price for the car? Options are cargo net and L7C package. My wife likes the Champagne two tone color. We'll be adding a hitch to the back for a bike rack and having the windows tinted (baby hates bright sunlight in her eyes), but those items aren't in the price. Anything I 'need' that I've overlooked? Is this a good, fair or poor price? Thanks all Andy
Suzam
If you check http://www.kbb.com I think you'll find the invoice price for your area is around 24,950 the dealer cost may have been a little less, the L7C adds $231 cost and the cargo net adds $32, so I'd call it a good price. We have a 2001 Ltd and I installed my own hitch from http://www.hitchesonline.com for about $175 with wiring harness and ball.
