bgambino
:mad:what a piece of crap these wire designs are I have brand new Subaru wires on...I made SURE I put plent of silicone grease on them (2 weeks ago) and I can't get the darn thing off to test for spark for my current no starting condition They are in such an awkward spot...you would think there would be a better handle You should have heard me cursing up a storm I love subbies (for 28 years now)...but sometimes certain designs piss the hell out of me... Anyone have a trick on how to grab these P'sOS
crockettbrat
I find that grabbing them and rotating them back and forth on the plug a few times helps. I really hate it when I pull them off and the metal female end is still on the plug! Daniel
EVOthis
+1 ^ also if you can get them down there...i use the boot pliers frequently for this and they work well for me.....
davebugs
Boot pliers or hose clamp pliers (I posted a pic of these on an old favorite tools thread here). Sometimes it seems the dielectric grease helps make a 'seal' more than being a lube for easy removal. But I still always use the stuff. And anti-seize on the plugs.
