foxgap
Just what it says, When letting out the clutch after a long stop the brakes seem tight, but release after moving, it seems fine. Car was just saftey inspected and brakes are new ceramic pads. If I do have to adjust it, What is the procedure? Thanks in advance, Mark
nipper
Hill Holder has a simple cable adjustment at the clutch fork. It sometimes needs adjustment as the clutch wears. Fiddle with it untill you get it where you want it to be. nipper
Gnuman
Because it is often adjusted multiple times during the life of the clutch, it will be needing adjustment when you get a new clutch put in. The procedure is to find an uphill stretch of road, and adjust it so the brakes are just releasing when the clutch starts to engage. This may take several tries, until you get it just the way you like it.
