The Dude Abides Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 I wont even go into the dam exon valdiez oil leak ive seamed to acquire but where the hell is this jumpy temp gauge coming from. Air in the system, there is alittle leak. Weve had freezing temps. Someone mentioned frozen t-stat. I dont know if i have exactly a 50/50 mix in my cooling system anymore. My dad's wagon would heat up on the guage, then plummet back down. the t-stat was stuck in the open position. so if he came to a stop, the temp rose, then as soon as he started moving again is dropped drastically. It will climb up while im driveing but as its almost to the H part it goes back down to half. Im thinking sticky t stat. Miht as well get some other parts while im at it.
