The Beast I Drive
Well, for the first time i finally get to play in the snow with the Beast. For the past 2 years since I lifted it during winter it has always been down for one reason or another, but this year it is up and running like a champ! On friday me and a few friends took it up into the hills above sunnyside and conquered some drifts, then I owned a steep snowy hillclimb that the others pussed out on Unfortunately there were no pics or video from that evening, but this afternoon me and my friend Trevor went out to the orchards and found the asphalt pads where the bins are normally loaded in the summer. It was a good day, The Beast got its legs stretched and Ive never had so much fun in a Honda Oh yeah, my buddy drives a '85 Prelude Anyway, Im waiting for my vids to upload, will add them soon. -Bill Edited December 22, 2008 by The Beast I Drive

The Beast I Drive
Its been running great since i put the new motor in it, Hydro lifters FTW. And Im running a Weber now instead of the Ford 2bbl. I really considered takin off the doors, but only for about 2 seconds, then I said F**K that, its too cold! I have more vids uploading, one is me taking video out my friends sunroof, that wasnt warm I also got a hold of some vids of a little night time off roading we did about a month ago that I will post in the offroad section. -Bill

The Beast I Drive
Psh, everyone's a critic when you have oversize tires with an underpowered motor -Bill
The Dude Abides
You know i find my subaru doing the same thing. I dont even think its underpowered. Show me someone doing that with a lsd rear end and well see if they cant whip the rump roast around.

My rear diff is welded, but we werent on ice, and I only have one CV in the back, so I can only drift goin left. Normally I can whip it around really good. -Jaren
The Dude Abides
Like i said, im having trouble getting it to break loose in ice or snow. Do you find your tires get chewed up with that welded diff.

Do you find your tires get chewed up with that welded diff. They do get chewed up a little, but you can always take an axle out. -Jaren
The Dude Abides
See thats my point, youve got the right rear pushing and the left front pulling. Makes it hard to do any type of drifting and donughts.

When it starts snowin, just put the axle back in, I just havent had time. -Jaren

The Beast I Drive
I Think I will take my RX out there today, it snowed another 3-4 inches or so yesterday and its snowing right now. I was amazed I actually got that thing to start today, normally it just will not start when its below freezing. I'll see if i can get Trevor to come with me so he can film it -Bill
