1995 Subaru Impreza Coupe, AWD 5spd. 104,000 miles. Cruise control that works, and it runs and drives very nicely. Looks good on the outside, body's in very good shape.

Now the bad...

Dash lights don't work. There are no low beams, only high. No knob to roll down the driver side window. Cracked windshield. Check engine light. Loud exhaust.

$525. Good deal?

i bought a 93 impreza l wagon a couple months ago:

EJ18, 4EAT, AWD, 231k miles

so far i've replaced the front axles and wheel bearings, replaced lower ball joints, replaced the radiator, swapped new tires from another car, redid the tweeker stereo install (came with pioneer deck and decent kenwood speakers all the way around), shampooed the seats and washed all the plastic trim, did a full tune up, rebuilt the trans, replaced the throttle body and replaced the tcm and the trans still isn't working right. also, it needs a front pass door eventually (cosmetic).

other than that its in great shape.

i paid $800 for the car after tax/dmv fees so i'd say you're doin alright!;)

older impreza wagons are hard to find around here though and when you see them they're not cheap. i don't know what your market is like.

...oh, and my dash lights don't work either.

Sounds like a great deal for only 104k. If the car runs/drives great but has a CEL, then O2 sensor maybe?. How is the CAT? If the CAT is fine then sounds like most other things that need fixing would be pretty low cost. How's the rusty rust?

that's kind of a rip off considering all the problems - i'll give you $550 for it and relieve of them all. just kidding, that's a great deal. i mean if you don't overheat or run this thing out of oil you can get another 100,000 out of this thing rather easily. you'll need a couple small repairs here and there, but you can't get much closer to a another sure 100k than this car.

Yeah it did very well on the trip from Cookeville. 150 miles and the temp stayed steady as a rock. Seems quite a bit peppier than my Impreza wagon (EJ18 2wd 5spd 234,000 miles). I may end up reselling it just because I have too many cars... but I'm awfully tempted to keep it. The best thing I could do would be fix the minor issues and THEN sell it and I could make more money.

It just drives so darn good I don't wanna get rid of it, lol.

I'll have pics in a couple of days.

:EDIT: It had very minimal rust on the rear fenders where they meet the bumper right at the wheel well. I don't think there was any on the front, I'll see when I pick it up at my sister's though.

I'm glad you were up the other night at 2 a.m. when I sent you that link. I knew if I didn't just buy a house I would have been all over that thing too. Would have made me a great rally car. Sucks you didn't stop over in Crossville, I would have loved to have seen the car.

Congrats Jordan.

They were following me so I couldn't just stop by. I called and told them I couldn't find a ride there, and they offered to drive my car back and have a seperate car following them so I was like "HELL YEAH!" haha. You'll see it sooner or later I'm sure. I'm thinking when my actually sees it she won't mind me having an extra car around because it actually looks really good.

Just a cracked windshield and a slightly ragged interior with minor electrical problems.
