Bucky92
Congrats!!!! At least you found the problem. Should be all good now! Far from good actually..have to replace the motor...and then the tranny needs replaced too sometime in the future.. Grrrrr We sent the pics to Tom at AWD.inc and he said ..Nope ..garbage..probably caused by oil starvation..I have a new oil pump on it I need to inspect..and the marks were not there when I originally tore it apart Edited December 30, 2008 by Bucky92

Grrrrr Yeah but at least you know some of the problem now and with a new temp gauge and now that you know the fan will work, you shouldn't have to worry about any more hang ups!! So at least you're making progress!

Phizinza
Working gauges are that important then... I would invest in some aftermarket auto gauges, like oil pressure and water temp. Good luck with the new motor. I'm liking my EA81 atm

The Beast I Drive
Arent valve cover gaskets like 10 bucks for the pair? for that much I would just get new ones, coat them in RTV and let them sit, then install those. And if you cant get them that cheap, I have a a pair for that cheap. -Bill
