ShawnW
He wants to know if this can be his second car since his first will be the '86 Brat it's kind of weird to see him taller than a vehicle... It would have happened a lot faster in most driveways.

Jerry DeMoss
Mick if you plan on keeping the ea71 and may want a dual carb setup for it keep me in mind. I have a good lead on one right now.

I have a good lead on one right now. well, I'm thinking that the weber that's on my '82 will go onto the '78 when I SPFI the '82..... I've already had an ea71 with a weber (Ski Wagon) and it was a blast....

The Dude Abides
I 2nd that!!! it still is a blast, makes the engine sound funny when the loud pedal is pressed farther than normal Y not drive the ski wagon dennis. If its so much fun.
subiemech85
Y not drive the ski wagon dennis. If its so much fun. fun, yes but for 160 miles at a time, it is nice to have: more than 1 speaker in the dash, 4 speakers and an equalizer with push button digital tuning is super, more "plush" interior, height adjustable seat, cruise control, 3 trip meters that are easy to reset, sun roof, LSD, digidash, "silent" doors, 5spd trans, tilt steering wheel, less road and engine noise, disk brakes, clutch and brake pedal unit that does not have worn out bushings, ..................... The Beast I Drive
Nah, no camo, not that one. I think that color is good enough to leave as is, not too ugly, but definitely not pretty Definitely needs a lift though -Bill
The Dude Abides
How do these do in an offroad situation with the lift and big tires. I only ask because i know the ea71 is very (lacking) in power. Andi think it should be heading to wcss11. Hint Hint
The Beast I Drive
Well with the right swaps it would do fine (4 or 5 speed D/R), however the 6" lifted John Deere Brat at WCSS10 did surprisingly well with a stock drivetrain and tractor tires, but I dont think the clutch will last too long. -Bill
