one eye
What size wheel do you use to change it over to a 6 lug. I know 15 but 15x ? How wide? Are they just stock toyota wheels or Can you use after market wheels with a different offset. If you know let me know. Jeff
Flowmastered87GL
I purchased 15X7 wheels from Les Schwab (white wagon wheel type) I have yet to pick them up from John (sorry john I'm trying to use my free time to get my loyale up and out of Jasons garage first) but they should fit. They have a little more offset than some stock toyota wheels ive seen. I am no expert here, just letting you know what I was told to purchase. GeneralDisorder
I'm running 15x6 - my spare is a 15x7. Depends on what tire your running really. I would imagine a 15x8 or even 9 would probably work, but go as narrow as you can for your tire of choice - helps to keep the tire seated well, and prevents bead popping on the trail.... also keeps some rubber between your rim and the rocks.... CamoMan
Hey one eye, I see you gotta chopped up 79' brat. I should be gettin my 79'brat home this week and would like to go with bigger wheels but a lift is more than I paid for the car. Could you give me more info on your choped brat. Did you chop instead of lift? Did it work? Was it already ugly or did you make it that way? Thanks man!
junkyardgabe
i'm running 15x7 with a 4.25" offset off of a 88 dodge D50 if you go below a 4.25" offset you"ll need fender flares or wider than a 15x8

GeneralDisorder
Oh yeah - my 15x6's stick out a good 2 - 3" past my fenders. Not a problem here in OR - no one cares (even tho I think it's technically illegal....). GD
Snowman
I'm gonna be running rims from a chevy LUV pickup. They're either 14X5.5 or 14X6 I think, and they stick out 2 or 3 inches more than a stock soob wheel.
