baccaruda
My mom is color blind. Everything she sees is black/white/grey and/or yellowish. She wants to add foglights to her Jeep (shut up!) and I'm wondering if anyone here has any PRACTICAL experience that would clarify this issue. At first impulse, I'd say that yellow would be the answer because it's the only color she sees as itself rather than as a grey, but then again, it might reduce contrast, which is essential for night driving. IDKBIANAO. (I don't know because I am not an opthamologist!) Thanks! Andy
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
I Suggest Normal Halogen Colour, `cos it is Yellowish without Being too Deep, and it illuminate Better the Road, and is Safer than the Blueish Colour, Specially on Wet Pavement. monstaru
i say white because it is not the color she sees that matters..... it is the amount of illumination that matters.....regardless of color.....cheers, brian
The Beast I Drive
For actual fog cutting lights, I would go with yellow, upwards of 100 watts, white light reflects off the fog and all you see it the fog itself and not whats past it -Bill
heartless
+1 for the yellow for actual fog use for the reasons stated above. If you have concerns about it, perhaps talking with an opthamologist might help....
monstaru
i believe he is using"foglights" as general term. his explanation to me was that she wanted to see better at night, which means,"driving lights"......make up your mind *********************..........:)cheers, brian

Loyale 2.7 Turbo
If you want Better Drivin` Lights, Why don`t you use a Good H.I.D. Kit in Light Yellowish Colour Like I Did? ... See: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=89661&page=8 if you do That, I Suggest you to Use a Hi/Low Moving Beams H.I.D. Kit like I Did, to Avoid blind the incoming Drivers` Eyes.
