Buddythedog
Funny little story, my wife and dogs and I were in the Jemez Mountains (in northern New Mexico) for a day of hiking. Dogs had to pee, so I drove down a snowy, muddy trail for a bit and saw 2 guys staring at a hopelessly high-centered '03 Chevy pickup. They had tried everything to unstick it, including spinning their wheels to make some holes deep enough so their tires barely touched ground. I asked if they needed me to pull them out (in my shiny white 93 Loyale w/ snow tires). They laughed. I said forget it, call a wrecker, then I'll be laughing at your bill. They said ok, within 2 minutes I pulled them off their hill. They were amazed at me, my wife, and my dogs ----oh, and at the mighty Subie!!! My wife no longer makes fun of my Loyale as compared to her Outback, which is in the shop:banana:
Nug
This is quite unlike the time my dad high centered his sube on a snowbank in the middle of a plowed parking lot because he was like "hey, I have 4wd! I can go anywhere!" Seriously though, That's great. I LOVE proving people wrong.
beauregaardhooligan
Way to go, Buddy! FERTHER has pulled a truck (full size 2wds) made by each of the big 3 out from where they couldn't move. Somebody came up to me after pulling the Dodge out and said "Where are the cameras? Ya'll are making a Subaru commercial, right?" It don't get no better! riverrat
We had probably a thirty foot or so semi deliver windows on a job sight a few years back.Well he ran out of diesel on the hill just before the house.I called the dirt guy and he came up and gave him twenty gallons of diesel.Well the truck would still not start. The poor guy sat there for probably three hours using the starter to inch his way up the hill in an attempt to coast down the back side to compression start it.I finally could not stand it any longer.I hoped in riverrat1{84gl4x4wagon] rolled over there and told him I would pull him up the hill.He laughed hard so I bet him fifty bucks.Hooked up my tow strap secretly through into low and pulled him up the hill..I let him off on the fifty as he ha dsuffered enough grief for one day.Besides the whole plat was now intriged by the once anonomous subaru:D
