I'm bout to put a round into this thing!!!!

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I have read everything on this forum that I could find on brakes on my 90 loyale.... BUT when I tried install my front pads I get the drivers side on after I learned the screw the piston in thing.

HOWEVER the pass side wont go in, I'm turning it clockwise and no go, park brake cable released, even have the master cyclinder cap open and the bleeder open, it turns but nothing...

the brakes worked fine, they just squeaked as the indicator was rubbing.

can anyone HELP ME!!!!!!!

Thanks

S

one of my 200SX rears is the same way. ebrake doesn't work, and piston doesn't thread back in. so I'm guessing the piston is stripped.

if you find a way around it, let me know. I tried some pressure from a c-clamp AND rotating it. still no luck.

Ok, so I put new calipers on the car and that did that, only thing was some grinding (as the pads get to know the rotors), which has all but gone away... HOWEVER I still get the grinding when I turn left??

any ideas?

Does that shound like anything, or will it burn off?

(the car didnt do that before the install).
