Uberoo
Does the car need to be lifted to mount the radiator above the engine? Also how much did it cost to have the filler neck modified?Any thing else I should know?
TeamCF
EA81 or EA82? On my '83 EA81. I took measurements one day. And it would seem with no lift and the stock aircleaner in place I could fit it where the spare tire used to be no problem. (I carry a full size where the rear seat used to be now) Biggest thing would be plumbing it up and making a "just under" 90* neck for the cap. (The rad would be best at a slight angle if possible. Top high of course) Something I should do as I bent the front "framerail" about at the front of the engine. May as well chop it off there. On EA82's I can't say. I've heard that there is not enough room. But someone else with a EA82 would have to chime in on that.
bigo1966
On the buggyroo I mounted it where the spare tire was. It was a PITA to fill but worked fine. I would reccomend trying to find a thicker radiator that was not a long and tall. Im also 99% sure the hood, if there was one would not have closed.
