haha well i just lost some hours at work so.... not alot more money can go into my brat at this time.... why does the economy have to suck so much?

Believe me I know! I'm still out of work! I have an interview tomorrow though!! Oh and I used all scrap metal for my bumper. It was 100% free to make except for the electricity the welder used!

That's what I have. By far the worst welder I've ever used but it gets the job done, you just have to get used to it.

actually for a flux core thats made by chicago electric its a good entry level, since i can weld up to 1/4inch plate together its not bad at all.

i would use my lincoln pro-135 mig, but i don't need it just for prettier welds for my bumpers, other people... sure ill use it.

but why not the 90amp flux and take a grinder to it like i did to dress the welds, no one will be the wiser.

Yeah Mine does work quite well, but nothing compared to all the Lincolns I've used. My friend has a little 110 mig Lincoln and that thing works great with or without gas. Mine just isn't as smooth, and I don't like that it doesn't have a cooling fan. But it certainly gets the job done, and yes it's quite easy to just grind down the unpretty welds.
