will exhaust off a newer legacy wagon fit on my 91. looking for larger dia. than my stock. nothing to big just looking for better flow. looked like the exhaust on the 93's looked larger than my 91?

It should be about the same size. It will fit just check and make sure they are both dual exhaust port(which they should be)

all the previous posts are a good guide, it's mostly a waste of time. unless you want the novelty of telling folks it has "XYZ" on it, then go for it. if money is an issue, sounds like you can consider this good news and move on.

non-turbo and turbo exhausts are completely different. a bit of a waste to install something now that's not ideal for something you might (probably won't) get later.

the 93 exhaust should be identical to your 91 anyway. it might *look* bigger, but it's probably the same. probably just rust, lighting, ground clearance, heat shields, mental, grass is greener....something making it appear larger.

90-94 exhaust is identical. 95-99 exhaust is identical, 93-01 impreza is identical. you will see no gain.

and if you plan on lifting it, and going turbo you are waisting your time.

a turbo will be no use off road unless you run on dunes for pre-running. you want low end torque, not top end horse power.

Turbo exhaust systems are an entirely different animal and you'll need a new engine cross-member before you go adding a turbo.

Yup dont bother with converting it. If you want a turbo buy a EJ22T thats already built.. Save yourself a lot of money, time, and PITA's
