discopotato03
Hi all , I'm fed up with the silly 4 x 140 stud pattern on my L RX Turbo and want to know if anyones drilled say another set of holes for the Datsun 4 x 114.3 pattern . I've looked at a front drive flange and I think its possible to do this so I'm curious to know if anyones done it yet . Cheers Adrian in Australia . bratsrus1
Hi This is Jerry, yes i have redrilled my hubs to 4 on 4 1/2 inch bolt circle to fit toyota. I have been running 4 bolt cragars on my hatch and i have over a hundred thousand miles on them work great. Also the wheels i have on my hatch are rear wheel drive wheels and i have had no problems. I also have rear disc brake on my car, the rear hubs are simple to redrill. Thanks Jerry
4x4_Welder
I always thought the center alignment hub was too big for the smaller pattern rims.
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
I Did That Redrill in Both my Wagons... Look at my List of Writeups at my "Public Profile" Page, one is about how to Change the Rear Wheels` Lock System, there you can see Pictures of How I Redrilled the Bolt Pattern. I Did it Long Long Time Ago... several thousand Miles and Trips have Done Without issues... I always thought the center alignment hub was too big for the smaller pattern rims. ... Yes, the Rims` Center Holes are Smaller, so You`ll need to Reduce the Center Hubs Diameter at a Machine Shop. Kind Regards!
discopotato03
I don't suppose you have any pics of the front hub and or rear disc brake ones redrilled ? Cheers A . Yeah , always though Subaru drums were an easily machined up disc rear hub in the making ! With the drum part removed you could possibly machine the hollow stem section to offset in inwards enough to get an external disc over it .
