Caboobaroo
Ok so I might be having to swap all of my 4wd stuff from my 79 wagon into a 2wd 78 wagon. Is it possible? Does anyone know? Paul maybe? I need to know this ASAP just in case I have to do this:D

GeneralDisorder
Simple - the car he can get the title to is 2WD - the 4WD car has no title. GD
Dr. RX
Heck anything is possible if you work hard enough to make it happen. I'm not sure about the older cars, but the EA81 series cars had all the attach points for 4WD on the 2WD cars, it was pretty much a bolt up change over. Caboobaroo
well I was just wondering if it was like swapping the 4wd into an EA81 car. I know its all a direct bolt-in but I need to know if its the same with gen 1's.

moosens
When I had two '75's side by side I could plainly see that the underbodies are a little different. All due to the 4WD. I still think it can be done.Infact,if I get this '75 coupe I'm going to make the attempt.Probably use an SPFI EA82 if I can wedge it in there. The R and D will be fun I'm sure.THose coupes have such a flat bottom.Probably just weld a subframe in like the Gen II Brat lift that Bruce from Maine has(zrBrat, used to be on the old board). Please post, whoever does the deed first.Miles, you done this yet?
