sleepylegacy
well I have a 1990 legacy wagon LS, and I want to get lowering springs for it. and struts also. so far I can get combos lowering springs and struts together, or just the lowering springs, then the adjustable springs and what not. ever hear of the Monroe sensa track strut/gas shock? well if not they are self adjusting for the road, they raise and lower the car,is what I noticed what happened after driving through rough bumpy roads (raised), and freeway driving (lowered). stiffing and soften the ride. I have used them in my 84 Nissan/Datsun 300ZX and loved them. with a car full of people never bottomed out. what I want to know is if I get the lowering springs and combine them with Monroe sensa track struts if it will damage the springs? I want the self adjusting struts cause I drive on bumpy rough roads and the car goes every were I go, but I also want the corning and handling too, plus I do drive around with a wagon full of people too. also getting bigger sway bars, and shock tower bar. to help with the corning
Legacy777
The struts don't lower & raise the ride height. I'd strongly recommend KYB GR2 struts as replacement struts for the first gen legacies. They are leaps and bounds better than the monroe struts.
