one eye
ya 500 bucks for the car, and a bit extra for the lift and 2 new front axles. The guys name is Ron, he lives in Idex Wa, he gets a crap load of snow at his place and it doesn't get plowed so it kinda makes since to have a lift for the ground clearence, he is going to put some 27 or 195 s on it sooner or later but for now this is how it is...............................and he has a 160 mile round trip every day index to auburn, so look for it out on the road!!!!! Jeff Glad I don't have that kinda commute! That's the 15* lift, isn't it? It'd be cool if he stayed in touch to report on tire/axle wear.

one eye
I'm sure I'll be in touch with him for quite some time, he is looking to do a trans and motor swap coming up pretty soon. I'll be sure and report back and let everyone know what the status of "ware and tear" is. Jeff

'82 Gl Daily
Hey I just got a 82 gl wagon 4wd and was wondering how much you thought it would cost me in parts to do a 2'' or 3'' lift and what I would need? thanx
Markus56
you would need around 6 inches of 2x2 tubing, a chop saw, drill press, and some mounting hardware. price depending on where you get your stuff. I had free steel so my only cost was nuts and bolts.
