pickup-bob
well this is the start off my build thread, wanted to mot pickup before started transformation, so need to sort out rust on underside, both rear arches were holed and 18 inch hole on drivers inner wing to floor, so 2 days off plating and welding, and pickup went through mot so ready for road, going to use it for month or so before transplant inner sill to floor hole and again plated and undersealed and inner arch repair lots to do still, got a 98 wagon wrx do ready for conversion, will be about month before start , easy way is to cut rear floor and suspension out off wagon to put into pickup, same with front bulkhead suspension mounts etc, will update as it goes along

lostinthe202
Man, those look like they are in great shape! I don't know why, but I like that two-tone paint job. I feel like I should hate it 'cause I usually don't like "stripe" type stuff, but that looks really good. It fits the era of the vehicle really well for some reason. The color choices help. I know nothing about what you Scots got in the way of factory options, is that a factory paint job? And, wow, now that's a topper! Can't wait to see the final product. Will-

Will- hey will, the two tone one is factory blue and the red is crysler crossfire red, know what you mean it does suit it somehow, both pickups are pretty solid , the cream one is the best by far , thats the one thats been in the family since new, 20 years now, undersealing it every couple off years has helped, two tone one is solid now, spent two days sorting the arches out, going to start fabrication in two weeks time when i pick up scooby turbo wagon, think its going to be a hard convertion but looking forward to the challenge and end result Edited February 23, 2009 by pickup-bob
Phizinza
This one's the real deal. http://www.htautos.co.uk/8.html?frm_data1=17&frm_data1_type=all Not enough keeping with the old Brat's style IMHO. Too much like all the utes (pickups) we get here in Australia, just square cut boring look.
