9098
Some scum bag dented my rear door with a shopping cart at home depot. I used that pop's a dent and it sort of worked. However, I'm having a difficult time getting all of the glue off the door. Any ideas? Thanks.
muffman
Maybe a tar removal product, but make sure it is meant for use on cars. Try to stay away from laquer thinner or strong solvents that may take off your paint.
abog
3M makes adhesive remover, comes in a can or in a spray, wont hurt paint.

yohy
or how about this....how do you get gum out of the kid's hair...ice cubes. If heat won't soften it, how about making it harder?

Rooster2
Try a product called "Goo be gone." It is a citrus based product. Great for taking adhesive sales labels off newly bought retail items. Might work well with your application.

9098
It warmed up the other day so I tried the WD-40 again. It finally worked...but on closer inspection the pops a dent did not work very well. I'll try it again.
heartless
another product is "Goof-off" - similar to Goo-b-gone, but works a bit better imho. have used it many times on big trucks, removing old stickers & lettering - no problems with it harming the finish, altho it does leave a slightly oily residue that will need to be washed off.
