greenleg88 Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 does anyone know if struts from a newer legacy or any other subaru will fit on a 97 legacy sedan? i was looking for someone selling struts and perhaps springs on the various subaru message boards and i didnt see many posts for this year and model, so i was wondering if they make a difference... thanks! porcupine73 Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 You can probably go newer for the front, but for the rear I don't think anything newer than model year 98 will fit as in '99 I believe the rear went to mulitlink suspension which is completely different from the mcpherson setup.
