ericem
Hey guys. I notice something dripping from the car when it is off overnight and gets close to 0F. Looks like it is my lower hose or the thermostat gasket. Need to snug up the bracket and hose. Anyway, so I was checking my overflow it is still nice and full, but I noticed tiny bubbles, when I rev it they go away. My rad cap doesn't look that good either. Can I use my N/A rad cap on the turbo car? It is basically brand new replace less then a few months ago on my wagon so I figure I could try swapping it over. Same goes for the thermostat and lower hose, can I use those items on the N/A car on my SS? Thanks! I am going to use Subaru coolant the green one, but I am now wondering, should I get that subaru conditioner to? Is it good preventive wise? ericem
Update. Turns out my rad was a tad bit low. Topped it up with the engine running via the rad cap, burped it a bit to and put my newish rad cap from my N/A legacy on. Hope the darn thing stops leaking 0 F temps ftl. idosubaru
next time you might want to give some more info. vehicle, engine, etc. you did good though, just attach known areas first, particularly if they're easy and get those out of the way. keep those fingers crossed. ericem
well this morning looked under the car before i left and again a few drops fell looks like it is coming from the rad right at the corner where the hose is i am hoping loose hose. To cold to get on the floor. I think thursday will be pretty warm.

ericem
looks like it is the water pump. In the car now its dripping steady from the middle this sucks. Anything i can do to get by till it gets warm enough to do a timing belt water pump tensioners etc. Anything i need to do with the oil pump while im in there. My other car is fine but the 94 turbo is cheaper to insure. And the turbo is more fun
ericem
Here are pics of where the leak LOOKS to be coming from. See right where the bolt is? There is water dripping from there with the motor running. Didn't take the pic at the exact time it started dripping. Uploading a vid. The leak I see overnight looks to be a smaller hose on the bottom above the lower hose. Maybe for the turbo? Going to replace that. Also noticed my flywheel cover is missing. Is that really important? Looks like I need to remove the crossmember to get in that area.
