Dantes Inferno
anyone done this? Slap a vw bus pop top onto a loyale. Imagine a nice dual range, ej swapped loyale with 30" tires and a 6" lift. All accented with a nice bull bar, big antenna, fishing rod holders and a vw canvas pop top to be the cherry ontop.

subaruguru
i think it would be neat but not like chop cut rebuild style. i think a nice vinal sunroof would be cool but a big one so it opens up over bothe the front and rear seats. Rob.
Greenley
Something like this would be a lot more feasible.
Rust
a split widow pop top could work, but a single hinged westy pop top from a 1970's era bus would be too wide. Subaru should have produced a westfalia version of the the old 360 micro van, one of those with a pop top and safari windows would be the bomb. Yeah, but you'd have to crank the top up like three feet to stand a midget up in it. They'd also have to do a rear pop-open tent under the hatch so you could lay down.
