ivantruckman Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 the plastic bulb holder , for my front marker light just crumbled, trying to change out the bulb on my 88 wagon, oh crap.. i was thinking of making a mold , and cast a replica from a castiable urethene, does anyone have an easyer fix. Txakura Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 my left one needed two screws, but it works better than a glue because you just loosen the screw to change the bulb - and it doesn't need to be tight enough to strip out the screw hole in the plastic, be gentle, it just traps the socket in the hole and keeps it from rattling around and burning out the bulb prematurely really glad I had a useful idea (for once) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
