Hey. Any idea what the part number is for this. I have a 1994 legacy turbo. I was under the engine and notice I can see the flywheel spinning oddly. What would this indicate btw? Can you even install it without removing the crossmember? Would this possibly have been removed because someone replaced the timing belt and decided to stick something in there in order to lock the flywheel and take off the harmonic pulley? Anyway part number for the cover and the two bolts missing would be great thanks!

it was probably removed during a clutch job. my guess is the clutch has been replaced? they get easily bent while moving an engine around and get removed.

i would just get a used one and the bolts will be standard fare metric 1.25 pitch, just figure out the diameter.

post in the parts wanted forum, someone will have one. actually...i probably do but i don't have time.

The car is automatic. Everything APPEARS to be original. No real signs of anything being removed like the motor, or tranny. Then again there shouldn't be any signs lol. Good idea, probably going to visit a yard somewhere and get one. Is it a big deal running without it right now? I guess avoid back roads or something?

automatics don't have flywheels. what you're seeing is the flexplate and the torque converter.

definitely not a big deal at all, there's no worries at all. im not even sure all vehicles have them, i've seen so many where you can see those components spinning that it's hard to imagine they were all removed or fell off. i've never even considered replacing or installing them and never will.

They are a PITA.

If the car actually has one I never reinstall it.

I should have several laying around if you need one off 95 and up's - probably the same.

But look at where it is. You really think much is gonna get between the engine/trans and that crossmember? Unless you're doing mud boggs or something?

If you want one PM me. But I think you're crazy.
