The Beast I Drive
Looks pretty damn good from the pics, even with stock motion wheels on it. I love the color choice. I think it would look good with a lip spoiler on the decklid, like the rx sedans, and lower it a bit. Does it still have the air suspension? -Bill

Does it still have the air suspension? -Bill its good job few imperfections that we missed. but i'm happy with it. atleast we will know were next paint job. Paint is #947 from Subaru and the black is #957 from subaru (mica Ruby Pearl & Mica Black Pearl) and you bet i'll use SUBARU Paint ! as for spoiler i have one but i dunno if it'll look good on him. i got it off my cavalier i once had. its on subie (my loyale) now. no air suspension i bought him that way from the original owner. -John Edited April 5, 2010 by SubaruJawn added details

TomRhere
The mount "bushing" on the rear diff is not replacable, you have to swapout the "mount bracket" itself. Any EA81, EA82, or XT6 mount bracket will work. They are all the same. My '88 XT6 had the same stance as yours on the rear, it had the coilover swap done before I owned it. Was told to flip the top mount brackets for the rear shocks, and that would lower the rear a couple inches. Liking the new look of yours..... SubaruJawn
i dont want to lower it. i like the rear higher. shows that scubert is Stuck-up i'm trying to give him the " Muscle car " & " Hot Rod " Attitude. think i'm getting it right....so far
DugIt
Sup guys! I'm slightly new to the forum and this will be my first post. I was really hoping that there would be an XT thread and alas, I find this here! Here's my story. I recenty saved an older XT from the cat food can route. I am currently revamping it so I can get it back on the road. Hopefully this next question isn't too tricky. I plan on rerouting the wheel power to the back to make it RWD instead of FWD. I'm going the whole nine yards in fabbing a custom frame in the rear to hold the diff and suspension as well. As this XT is the FWD 4cylinder model, is it possible to swap in a transmission from the XT6 6cylinder AWD version? Would the bolt patterns be the same? Or could I use a tranmission from a Loyale? I'm open to other suggestions on how I would do this. Thanks! Edited May 15, 2010 by DugIt

DugIt
looks greatjust install 4wd trans without front axles and rear all bolts in lock trans in 4wd. Ok, I found my XT has the EA82 engine. Which is great because I'm positive I can swap in an older 4WD tranny from a Loyale.
