EA82 Seats?

Recommended Posts

What other Subaru seats will fit in my 1987 DL 4x4 Wagon? All I have found is Legacy seats will, any others that bolt in easy? I only am concerned about front seats as they need replacement, especially the drivers, and I keep the rear folded down most of the time. Oh, and is there anybody in western Washington that wants to sell or give me some seats :brow: ?

I heard the GL seats have more padding then the DL Ones. Cummon go for custom matching front and rear seats.

That wouldn't surprise me, kinda like a pullout sofa bed compared to a real bed. Im getting really sick of the metal bar going accross my lower back in my old wore out drivers seat and the plastic trashbag cover I had to put on the bottem because someones f%ing cat snuck into my garage and used the seat pad as a toilet.

I have a pair of 87 Wagon seats, and a pair of 90 Loyale. The 87's need a good scrubbing, the 90's are clean but the driver butt padding has just started to crush down - still better than metal bars and garbage bags.

XT seats might fit with a minimum hassle, it wasn't too hard to get them into my 90 Loyale RS, inside rear needed a bushing and a longer bolt, outside rear an 85mm long bolt and a spacer. I have seen box tubing and used a piece of aluminum tubing myself. If you go that route I can take a pic to show you.

Yeah, if you could take some pics of this for me that would be great.

after 20 years I couldn't get the #4 (?) rail screws to budge off the ea82 seats and it was actually easier to just use the xt track with the long bolts... whichever is easiest, I'm sure both ways work
