Gloyale
Check the small coolant hose that runs front to back over the intake. it runs just under the throttle cable, and can sometimes interfere. Espescially if it has been replaced with straight hose, instead of the factory bent hose.
ivantruckman
how long has it been setting get some wd40 on the throttle plates
subyrally
wd-40 is crap untless you are trying to prevent water from collecting. i had that problem with my rx last week, just sprayed the throttle spring, cable and the pedal hinge and spring with sea foam deep creek spray. havent had an issue since. xoomer
Also the Cable could be bad, As well your pedal could be frozen... don't ask me... I replace the cable in my car still did it... finally realized that it took a while for the spring on the pedal to bring it back to the top... so I soaked that in a Silicone lubricant and have not had a problem since.
