sleepylegacy
Dome light turns or flashes. on by its self, when I take right turns, on the door indicator it shows the driver door open. only does this on right turn and driver door is the only door that shows opening. other then that it works fine. what can I do? 1990 legacy LS wagon
bheinen74
my dome light is always on after i give my dogs a car ride. Seems they bump the switch somehow. when you see me driving down the road with it on, its due to dogs. sounds like your door jamb switch needs cleaned or readjusted somehow or replaced. Its the little rubber boot covered button on the door near the hinge i believe.
nipper
Remove the switch and replace it? Just a thought. Sounds like a loose wire or bad switch. mipper

gbianchi
I also would say drivers door switch, don't replace, find the spot that it hits on the door and silicone a coin(nickels work good) to that spot, good to go, worked every time for me................G
Olnick
. . . find the spot that it hits on the door and silicone a coin(nickels work good) to that spot................G There you go, throwing money at a problem again. I'll bet you could fix it for 1/5 the cost.
